PACKET PICK UP/REGISTRATION
There will be two registration sites. The first will be at Fleet Feet in Fresno on June 2nd and the second site is June 3rd at the Pines Resort in Bass Lake. Packet Pick Up at The Pines Resort will take place at Ducey's on the Lake on the Gazebo Deck next to the pool. Packet pickup is available on Race Morning but is discouraged.

Friday, June 2, Packet Pick Up: 4:00 - 7:00pm, Ducey's on the Lake, The Pines Resort, Bass Lake.
You may register for the triathlon at Packet Pick Up on June 1 or June 2, providing the race has not sold out. There will be no triathlon registration the morning of the race. 5K registration on race morning will be available until 7:00am.
Packet pick up for the triathlon is available on race morning until 6:30am. Note that packet pickup closes at 6:30am and race numbers will not be available after that time. If you arrive after 6:30am you run the risk of not being able to race.
All relay members must come to registration for packet pick up. We cannot release the race number for the relay until all relay members have personally checked in.
Timing chips will be handed out race morning. Chips are to be worn on the left ankle.
If you are an annual member of USA Triathlon, then you must bring your annual membership card and photo ID to registration. We cannot make exceptions to this rule. Please do not ask us to do so.
If you are not an annual member, USAT charges a one day fee of $15 and requires you to sign a waiver. This fee is paid as part of your registration process. If you signed up via active.com then you will have signed the waiver online. If you mailed the entry in then you will need to sign a waiver at registration.
We had hoped to have a procedure in place where you could pick up the packet of a friend or family member. Unfortunately USAT has informed us that this is not possible. Everybody, included each relay member, must personally pick up their packet and race number. There are no exceptions to this rule.
OPTIONAL BIKE DROP OFF
The transition area will be open for optional bike drop off from 5:00pm - 8:00pm on Friday, June 2. This is not a mandatory bike drop off. Security will be present at the transition overnight.
PRE-RACE PASTA DINNER
Join your fellow triathletes at the Pasta Party the night before the race. A pasta dinner buffet will be served by Ducey's on the Lake on their Gazebo Deck, a fantastic patio area overlooking Bass Lake. Tickets are available at the door. You may also pre-purchase a ticket online. Buffet served from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Pre-Race Meeting at 7:00pm. Please see the party page for additional details.

USA TRIATHLON (USAT) is the national governing body of the sport of triathlon and provides the insurance for the event. We therefore must abide by their registration procedures and competitive rules.
If you are an annual member you must bring your valid membership card as well as a photo ID to pick up your packet. This is required by USAT and we cannot make exceptions.

The pre-race meeting will take place after the Pasta Dinner at 7:00pm on Friday, June 2.
The pre-race meeting will be on the pool deck adjacent to packet pick up.
Attendance is strongly encouraged but is not mandatory. We will cover last minute information, course details and rules.

Race afternoon festivities are free to everybody. Triathletes get 1 free beer and free BBQ meal. 5K runners get 1 free beer and the BBQ cost will be discounted to $7.50, $5 for kids 12 and Under. Spectators, family members and friends are welcome to buy a BBQ meal ($10/$7.50 for 12 & Under). Beer is available for purchase as well.
OLYMPIC - 1500m swim, 40K bike, 10k run
SPRINT - 400m swim, 20k bike, 5k run
BASS LAKE 5K - POKER & GO FISH FUN RUN (all proceeds go to local charities)
Relays are available in the international and sprint distance in the following categories:
Relay team members will do the same course as the triathlon. Relays can consist of 2 or 3 members. All relay members must sign a waiver at packet pickup.
Are you a member of a triathlon team? The Bass Lake Yosemite Triathlon is offering a free entry to every team that brings 12 or more entries. Make sure your team members record their team affiliation when entering online (a question will ask if they are representing a team and, if so, what team). When your team gets 12 or more entries your team will receive a certificate for a free entry.
The Bass Lake Yosemite Triathlon will be offering Clydesdale/Athena divisions.
Average day time temperature in Bass Lake early June is around 80. Due to the low humidity, nights are quite cool, dipping into the 60s. You might even need a sweatshirt at race start!
We understand that plans can change. Unfortunately we are not able to offer any refund, for any reason. We will not transfer your entry to another race nor roll it over to the following year. However, with races selling out, we do not want any individual stuck with an entry they cannot use. Therefore if you notify us prior to April 15th, we will offer a refund of 75% of your entry fee, less any charges incurred by active.com.
If you wish to switch between sprint and Olympic, or vice versa, you may do so at any time prior to June 1st (paying the difference in the entry fee where applicable). Just notify us by email and we will make the change.
We need to order t-shirts 10 days before the event. All athletes will be guaranteed a t-shirt in the size recorded on their entry blank or indicated on Active.com if your entry is received on or before May 24, 2016. Entries received after that date may not receive a shirt.
Tucson Racing reserves the right to postpone, cancel or change the race or race format at any time to ensure athlete safety. If Tucson Racing determines conditions that might compromise the safety of participants, Tucson Racing, in its sole judgment, may cancel, postpone, or change the race and/or race format. No Refunds or Transfers will be given.
